On December 12, 2016 these transportation services on demand Grab announced that it has received an investment and strategic cooperation with Japanese automotive giant Honda.
Grab did not mention how fresh funds they receive from such cooperation. But in their agreement with Honda, it was mentioned that there will be collaboration in terms of educating drivers to drive safely, efforts to reduce congestion and the influence of the environment in urban areas, as well as the development of other technologies.
Honda itself is not the first automotive companies are tempted by a transport business on demand.
