Less than two months Facebook launched a feature similar to that Snapchat, WhatsApp now turn to do the same by presenting a feature that allows users to share photos and videos that can be shared disappear after 24 hours.
To date, the named Status feature is still under development that can only be accessed by a limited circle, as quoted from Mashable.
In the beta version, Status feature located between the display and the icon Calls Chats. To use the Status feature, users simply click on the button located on the right edge of the screen that has a similar view with the added plus icon circle.
The new feature of WhatsApp also allows users to perform multiple updates in creating status profiles and share them with friends listed in WhatsApp contacts. Additionally, penggguna can share a photo or video by adding text or a funny picture before distribution. To provide more privacy, users can also choose anyone colleagues who could see the updates that are made.
