On November 9, 2016 Twitter comes back with a shocking news. Adam Bain, COO who for six years has successfully built the business side of Twitter from zero to become as big as now, finally decided to withdraw.
Bain left the position will be filled by Twitter CFO Anthony Noto. Noto will occupy the position of COO and CFO simultaneously, and the future of the platform bearing the blue bird managed to find a new CFO.
Bain itself is a figure that is favored at Twitter. Male fans of batik was even touted as a potential CEO Dick Costolo Twitter after the departure in 2015 ago. Following from Twitter, Bain stated that he would not join with competitors like Facebook.
Bain's departure adds to the long series of resignations by some leaders of Twitter in the last 10 days. On November 1, 2016 and, Rishi Jaitly who is Head of Twitter India, also decided to withdraw.
Rishi's departure was followed by Parminder Singh, who is the Managing Director of Twitter to the territory of India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (INSEA / MENA). Rishi and Parminder has occupied a leadership position in their respective Twitter for four years and three years.
For information, on 27 October 2016 and then Twitter has announced the dismissal of 350 of their employees. The majority of the employees who were fired were from the sales, which is the responsibility of Adam Bain.
Twitter also recently shut their product development center in Bangalore, India, and fired twenty of their employees there. The employee is reportedly a former employee of Zipdial, startup which they acquired in January 2015 ago.
