Kaskus Launches "Kaskus Networks" To Boost Website Visitors

 

On October 26, 2016, Kaskus announced their cooperation with several content providers to form a network called Kaskus Networks. Each member in the network is expected to promote products from fellow members (cross-promotion), either in the form of content, post on social media, up to the event.

Some content providers have joined Kaskus Networks among others Infokost, Bolalob, Opinion, Womantalk, and Beritagar. The names of all is a company under the auspices of GDP Venture, which is also an investor from Kaskus.

Examples of promotions that have been made Kaskus today is to display the contents belonging Beritagar in News and Politics Forum. Besides Beritagar, in the same forum Kaskus has also presented a special page for other media such as Slot and Metrotvnews.

According to Ronny W. Sugiadha, Chief Marketing Officer of Kaskus, it will maximize all promotional channels at their disposal, ranging from websites, mobile apps, to social media, in order to give an advantage in terms of traffic, revenue, and SEO, for the companies to work together with them.

"We hope Kaskus Networks can be one of the leading ad networks and content in Indonesia," said Martin B. Hartono, Kaskus CEO, in a press release received by Tech in Asia Indonesia.

Interestingly, this announcement comes amid the declining number of visitors to the site Kaskus over the last few months. This can be seen from the data shown SimilarWeb.

Similar trends can be seen from the site Alexa.

Even against Kaskus search on Google Trends now are at their lowest.

The online forum in Indonesia also recently left by the founder and former CEO of them, Ken Dean Lawadinata. Interesting to wait if Kaskus cooperation with other companies in Kaskus Networks can boost the number of visitors on their site.
